On Being Slow

My website is not updated so very often, but I like the process of letting photographs wait in my drawer. I look at them from time to time, then scan the negatives and let the files sit in my computer. After a while I make colour corrections and maybe some retouching. And so perhaps, I put them on the site.

On Torbjörn Elensky's Slow Blog I found this wonderful quote: "Plato writes a paragraph in a book, and decades later, Aristotle writes a comment. Centuries later, Plotin or Cusanus respond. Thousands of years later, Nietzsche criticizes Plato's paragraph; and suddenly Heidegger or Adorno may add a comment, just decades after Nietzsche."
